Resolution: to forbid images on the Web !

Two weeks ago, i received a glossy paper leaflet under cellophane of the Dell newest laptops (i will probably collecting them at least until my death like my grandma whose a window seller is still sending her promotions althought she died 27 years ago). One page of this leaflet shows pictures of different laptops in real size to make comparison of their thicknesses. A mention says “real size image” on the top left corner of the page. “What a lovely idea” i thought, so i decided to create my own “real size image” of my laptop and publish it in my website. Wow ! I was very motivated but few days later, i discovered that it is totally impossible !
With a javascript hidden in this webpage, i can easily detect your screen resolution which is actually Furthermore, i know my laptop thickness is 1.5 inch. So i would simply adjust the image size to your screen resolution but it is not so simple. I have no way to know the size of your monitor so the image size will be different for each configuration. If you have a 15" monitor, and its resolution is 800 by 600 pixels, you will see my laptop thicker than it is in reality. But if you have a 21" monitor and the resolution is 1024 by 768 pixels, it would be thiner. I am sorry to tell you that we are all condamned to live on the web whithout any permanent scale. It is chaos ! Our children will be strongly lacking in essential marks : the size of a labrador, a Nokia 3310 or a PS2. If we don't solve the problem as soon as possible, we go straight to a worldwide catastroph. I call to to all the governments in the planet to react against this scourge by every possible means. I am proud of the first step to censorship realized by the french government with the law called LEN (“Loi sur l'économie numérique”). Now we have to go further by adopting a moratorium : to forbid images on the web for 5 years !
